Nelson wins soccer
Two goals by Mark McNaughton enabled Newmans Nelson United to win the final Rothmans soccer league match of the season, 2-1 against Wellington Diamond United in Wellington on Saturday.
: Gary Paddison scored for . W.D.U. to boost his tally for the competition to 10 while McNaughton’s goals give ’ him 11 for the league sea- , son. The win leaves Nelson in sixth place, one ahead of W.D.U.
