Gang blasts family
NZPA-Reuter Buenos Aires An armed gang has killed two security guards and blown up the house of a senior Government official while he and his family were in it, police sources have said in Buenos Aires.
The family survived the blast.
The 13 unidentified attackers, who included several women, killed the bodyguards of the Economic Programming Secretary (Dr Walter Klein).
They then ordered two maids’ out of the house, locked the Klein family in, and detonated two bombs which shattered the building. Dr Klein and his 12-year-old daughter, Maria, were pulled from the rubble of the house more than three hours later with only minor injuries.
