Brownlee beaten
NZPA-Reuter Toronto New Zealand's Bruce Brownlee was beaten, 9-1, 9-4, 9-6, by the second seed Qamar Zaman, of Pakistan, in the world squash championships at Toronto yesterday. The 42-minute match was strewn with lets and ended with Brownlee bleeding from the nose after a collision. Brownlee ran and struggled hard to lead 6-3,
iin the third game, but Zaman, a former British i Open champion, was in no . mood to make mistakes against the No. 7 seed and a , series of fine shots brought him the match. Three Pakistanis — Zaman, Mohibullah Kahn, i and Maqsood Ahmed — will I be challenging the Austrai lian. Geoff Hunt, io take his world title at the semi-final I stage of the championships today.
