“West Coast Rules”
A new code of football, termed “West Coast rules,” is being devised for a match between a rugby union and rugby league team in Greymouth on October 7. The match between the Marist rugby league club and the Star-United rugby union club, with 14 players a side “to strike, a happy medium,” will be played at Wingham Park as a benefit match for the injured Marist player, Greg Mooney, at
