Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical). THE JOB: i The, successful applicant will be responsible i for the mechanical maintenance of the plan, which is divided into several production > areas. The Smelter uses modern sophisticated processes in the production of alu- ■ minium from basic raw materials. The peril son appointed will join a team of super- : visors who are responsible for all plain maintenance activities, each supervisor being supported by a number of maintenance foremen wtih a group of tradesmen under their supervision. This vacancy has arisen due to the rapid and continuing expansion of aluminium smelting facilities managed throughout Australasia by Comalco, Limited. j THE PERSON: Ideally, the successful applicant should be professionally qualified and hold a Mechani- ? cal Engineering degree or equivalent. The applicant will have had a substantial amount of experience in industry in a ; maintenance supervisory capacity involving staff management. Applicants for the first position must have N.Z.C.E. and preference will be given to those who are Registered Engineering Associates.
