The Mount Wellington striker, Clive Campbell, has been named Auckland player of the year. He is in the New Zealand soccer team which leaves tomorrow for a five-week overseas tour.
Don Jones, elected coach of the year, steered his Hanimex United. North Shore, to victories in the Air New Zealand Cup, the Chatham Cup and third place in the Rothmans League.
