Holiday activities

Events arranged for this week of the school holidays include:

Central Library: Astrology week at the library. Today, 11 a.m. to 12 noon, making science fiction masks. Tomorrow, 11 a.m. to 12 noon, science fiction fancy dress. Children: come as something from Star Wars.

New Brighton Library: Today and tomorrow, stories and art and craft work, from 2.30 to 3.30 p.m.

Spreydon Library: Today, and tomorrow, story hour, 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. Papanui Library: All activities from 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. daily. Today, story time and poetry. Tomorrow. model making. Redwood Library: Tomorrow is chess day, and at J p.m. a member of the Canterbury Chess Club will be at the library. Maori arts and crafts on display. Fendalton Library: Tomorrow is chess day, and at I p.m. a member of the Canterbury Chess Club will be at the library. A creepycrawly display' is at the library every day. Bishopdale Library: Tomorrow, chess day with a member of the Canterbury Chess Club. Kite display throughout the holidays. Sumner Library: Story telling and picture colouring from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. today and tomorrow. Dolls house on display. Hornby Library: Today, story-time for primary pupils from 11 to 11.45 a.m.

Darfield Hall: Tomorrow-, disco for primary schoolchildren, 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.l 50c.
