P.O. profit up $12M
PA Wellington The Post Office made $49 6M last financial year, according to its annual report tabled in Parliament yesterday—sl2M more than in the previous year. Income increased by $74.5M to 5514.5 M in the year ended March 31. Expenditure increased $62.6M to $464.9M. The Post Office Savings Bank’s profit dropped from 51.197 M in 1977-78 to $397,000 last financial year.
