Arrest sought in Australia

A warrant for the arrest of Elizabeth Anne Roberts, whom her counsel (Mr G. A. Falloon) said was at present in Australia but had no money to return to New Zealand, was issued in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. The defendant, aged 36, a dressmaker, failed to appear after earlier electing trial by jur. on 11 charges involving fraud, false pretence, and theft, allegediv amounting to $750.07.
