an angry .eaction at Darfield, and Mr Connelly wrote again. Mr Highet said the board had reconsidered its decision, and had made no change originally. But the matter had been considered again, and the board had agreed that a case existed
for better facilities, if these could be provided at a reasonable cost. “I have been directed to advise you that when suitable and economic premises can be obtained the board intends to establish a suboffice at Darfield,” he said.
