N.Z. Forest at 264c
The New Zealand sharemarket continued to firm in active trading yesterday. The N.Z.U.C. index rose 1.47 points to 351.36 to a new high for the year, and N.Z. Forest Products also set a new mark for the year of 264 c. U.E.B. continued to gain, rising 2c to 98c. Cooks Wine new shares rose 5c to 230 c, while the ordinary shares were quoted 235 c buy, 260 c sell on the Christchurch-Invercargill Stock Exchange, after the company announced a higher profit and dividend.
