An Auckland company: director, Peter Fulcher, has 1 denied five charges laid' against him in July. In the Magistrate’s Court yesterday on the application of counsel (Mr H. Romaniuk) Fulcher, aged 30, was remanded to November 2 for a defended hearing. Bail of $2OOO with two sureties of the same amount was renewed by Mr N. L. Bradford, S.M, An application by Mr Romaniuk to vary the daily reporting to the Takapuna Police Station was declined by the Magistrate.
rl Fulcher faces three pass- ;' port offences, one relating to 11 currency exchange reula- ; tions, and another of posl sessing cannabis resin. i On Fulcher’s previous i appearances in Christchurch • there was a heavier than i usual police presence around the court building. ; Yesterday, because of the defendant’s surprise appearance — he was due in court today — it was just ( the routine handful of |. policemen in the No. 1 I Court.
