Defamation writ
A writ seeking damage* of $250,000 from New* Media (Au-kland). Ltd, publisher of the “Sunday News,” has been filed in the Supreme Court at Auckland. The action has been brought by two Auckland men who allege they were i defamed in an article printed in the “Sunday News;” Those named as plaintiffs are Brian Ronald McDonald, an auto elec-, trician, and Garry Keith. O’Connor, a self-employed; blocklayer.
