Graham replaces Fraser, Loveridge captain
PA Wellington The Otago flanker, Wayne Graham, will replace the injured Ross Fraser in the New Zealand Rugby XV to play the touring Argentina team at Dunedin on September 8. Fraser suffered a broken leg while playing for Taranaki against Counties on Saturday. Graham, who came on as a replacement for New Zealand in the test against France at Christchurch earlier in the season, was named as a reserve when the team was announced on Saturday. He will thus become the only man to have played in internationals against both France and Argentina this season.
Mike Burgoyne of North Auckland, has taken Graham’s place in the reserves.
The New Zealand XV captain will bo David Loveridge, of Taranaki, according to an announcement from the Rugby Union late last evening.
