Ryan fourth in marathon
NZPA Montreal Kevin Ryan, of New Zealand, ran fourth in the international marathon at Montreal, three minutes behind the winner, Kebedz Balsha, of Ethiopia. Balsha finished in 2hr 11 mil 355, while Ryan finished in 2hr 14min 565.
Second place went to Australia’s Dave Chettle (2hr llmin 41s), and his fellow countryman, Chris WarH’-’w, was third in 2hr 13min 525.
