LECTURER (PRELIMINARY/ FOUNDATION) IN MATHEMATICS (POST 79/80) THE appointee will be responsible for teaching at the Prelimlnary/Foundation level which also includes Diploma in Education and Extension (external) courses. Applicants (must have a good University I degree in Mathematics and isome teaching experience at (the senior high school or tertiary level. A master’s degree in Mathematics and experience in teacher education and distance teaching is desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to assume duties by 1 January 1980. Salary in accordance with qualifications and experience in the scale F55945-FSILS63. In addition the University provides gratuity amounting to 15 per cent of basic salary, superannuation contribution, appointment allowance, partly furnished accommodation at a maximum rental at present of 121 per cent of salary: this is "under review. The person appointed will be required to share routine duties Concerned with manufacture and quality control of intravenous fluids and will have special responsibility for the preparation of small injectable items, eyedrops and hyperalimentation fluids. Training will be given where needed. A registered pharmacist with relevant background is sought.
