Litter in street
Sir, — I wish it recorded that Somerfield Street was last week littered with old fluorescent lamp starters and their replacements’ boxes — left by the men apparently doing routine replacements to the street lighting system. Littering is a deplorable activity and is especially disgraceful when done by a municipal authority. —Yours, etc., J. S. BRITTEN. August 19, 1979.
