was inadequately sign-posted, they said. The director of the Canterbury Manufacturers Association (Mr I. D. Howell) said last evening that so far no petition had been received by the association from the [dissatisfied exhibitors. He said the pavilion had Ibeen hired from the Canterbury Agricultural and PasItoral Association because of i the many exhibitors this year. ! New concrete floors were put .in. as well as heating and i lightbig. * I ..“If, was the only space available for these people,” Isaid Mr Hdwell. "It is what they were offered and what they accepted. It is only a temporary -.pavilion.” V. . Mr Howell said there was an electrical fault in ”‘0” pavilion yesterday, but that -had been fixed. He was not j awarfe of any other problems with heating or lighting.
