“Mog,” shown above with Senior Fireman Rohan Hook, certainly fell on. her feet when she wandered into Fire Service headquarters in Kibnore Street a month ago. Since then, the rather common-lookinr ginger tabby has been “adopted” by the firemen as a sort
of unofficialmascot. She has settled into the routine of station life well, does not bat an eyelid at the wail of sirens, and ;jmetimes even dozes on a mat in the corridor that the firemen pound down on their way to the machines. “Mog” has also found herself a warm, comfort-
able bed in a cupboard in the station cafeteria. “I think she knows where she is well off. She was pretty skinny when she arrived, but now all the blokes chip in for her food. They seem to like having an animal around the station,” one fireman said.
