That the Heathcote County 5 Council proceed to raise a loan of $260,000 for the • purpose of modernising of ! existing low tension re- >■ ticulation of electricity ■ and associated works. E 2. That the loan be known ! as the Electrical Works ’ Loan No. 5, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the E said Loan). 3. That the maximum term for which the said loan - may be borrowed shall be 30 years. 4. That the rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or anv part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or the lenders a rate exceeding the appropriate rate for the time being specified by the Local . Authorities Loans Board and notified in the New Zealand Gazette. 5. That the said loan or any part thereof. together with interest thereon shall be paid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in Clause 3 hereof. 6. That the payment of all such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalments shall be paid out of loan money. 7. That commission or fees may be paid in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof as the Local Authorities Loans Board may determine from time to time. Except as aforesaid no procuration fees or other fees or commission of a similar nature shall be paid and no discount shall be allowed to any lender in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof. 8. That no money shall be borrowed under this sanction where no part of this loan is raised within three years after the date of sanction, and the authority shall lapse at the expiration of that period and no proceedings shall thereafter be taken for raising the loan. Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, it is hereby further publicly notified that the said Special Order will be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the Heathcote County Council to ; be held in the Council Cham- ; hers. 66 Colombo Street, ; Christchurch, at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 1979, for confirmation as a Special Order.
