This Saturday, August 4, the Building Centre once again presents one of its popular "How It’s Done” days, during which we feature 12 different displays covering a wide range of interests.,. ~ You will see how to line the walls of your shower, bathroom or whatever; how to fit new spouting around the house; concrete blocklaying; building your own fireplace and even tying trout flies for the handyman who likes to go fishing. / - Since these displays were first presented about four years ago, their popularity has grown steadily and each time we feature several completely new ideas and products. As it’s Grand National Day we have brought our starting time forward to 9 a.m. so that you can spend an interesting and informative three hours at the Centre and then head for Riccarton in plenty of time to park and pick your chosen viewing spot. We look forward to your company on Saturday morning and assure you of an interesting display. Light refreshments will be available in the Coffee Lounge. R. A. ALEXANDER, . (Manager).
