An Ohai youth will not know for another six weeks whether surgery to sew back a severed thumb has been successful. James Sydney Molloy, aged 17, lost a thumb in an accident with a compressedair machine at the Linton State mine on Wednesday and was sent to the Burwoe' Hospital fc mi.rocurgery.
