Lawyer faces more charges

An unemployed Christchurch' solicitor, Robert Frederick Arthur Powell, entered no plea to four additional charges of failing to account, involving $50,800,

when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Powell, aged 38, was remanded on bail of $5OOO to August 2. When Powell appeared in court two weeks ago charged with the theft of $14,000 by failing to account, his name was sup* pressed by Mr J. S. Bisphan, S.M. ~ However, when continuation of this order was sought yesterday* Mr N. L.
