Showed much ability earlier in season but autumn form not so good. Could take beating if he has benefited from break from raving since March. R. Tatterson 3 8909 TRUANT LASS (3) It <6 ni Truant Hanover —Shirley Be). Has performed very well at times during a busy season but hard to fancy on some of her more recent efforts. R. May 4 7201 NUGGET (4) It (6 g Armbro Hurricane—Marquisite). Struck a solid patch of autumn form after a lengthy lean patch. Two sound runs for seconds at .Ashburton during Queen’s Birthday week-end and a fair fifth at Rangiora last time out makes him look a reasonable prospect. Will keep the best of the others busy if he kicks out on the right foot.

Ryan 11 7201 WINFIELD LORD (1) 20 (4 g by Flying Lord—Winfield Girl). Inclined to mix his form a bit but best is very good. Has impressive laststart win against the sprinters at Rangiora last month as a recommendation.

Has not been able to improve winning record since success on this course in January but is consistent and sure to be around-about at the finish. F. ! Sidelined i The Ilawera apprentice Diane Moseley is likely to be sidelined for at least six weeks as a; result of injuries she received in a fail at Levin on Wednesday. Miss Moseley, who broke a wrist in two places, is in her first season of riding and already has 15 winners. Th’e injury will not prevent her representing Taranaki in the Air New Zealand Apprentice Special later in the year.— PA.
