Peach inquest date settled

detective who has led the internal police investigation. Commander John Cass, was present in the court yesterday morning, but did not speak. Commander Cass’s report lon the “circumstances surrounding the death of Biair I Peach” went to the Director lof Public Prosecutions late lon Monday. I He said he would not com- ; ment on whether any charges | or arrests were imminent but isaid his investigation was mot over. Dr Burton told the court he expected to hear evidence from the Peach family, from :the police, and from the occupants of the house from which Mr Peach was taken Ito hospital. He said any others who were present at Southall could make representations to be allowed to give evidence at the inquest.
