iPA 'Auckland J Fisher and Paykel, Ltd, is i considering seeking listing of the company’s shares on the N.Z. Stock Exchange. The chairman (Mr M. Paykel) said that preliminary ■ proposals had been discussed ■ by the directors. It was likely that shares ! of a sufficient number to , enable the company to be ■ listed on the stock exchange . would be offered to employi ees and to the public later • this year, he said. i However, majority own-j ■ ership would remain with’ i the present shareholders.! i The company is wholly-j owned in New Zealand. ’ ■ i It is one of the country’s! leading manufacturers and in! recent years has become al major exporter.
