Cheviot councillors are/ disturbed over the limited time allowed for the study of the Local Government Amendment Bill, 1979, before submissions close on

Submissions close before the next council meeting and councillors were concerned that there was insufficient time to give the bill proper consideration. I Mr Novis said that copies of the bill might have been available for some time but it was not always possible to -work on a bill as soon as copies became available.
