Sir, — I heartily agree with M. Mayer (July 9) about the vile disease of myxomatosis. It certainly should not on any account be introduced to New Zealand. I saw rabbits suffering from this in England last year, and it is indeed a horrible and painful disease. It is incredible to think that man can inflict such suffer-
