Nampyung charged
PA Auckland The Ministry of Fisheries has charged the master of the South Korean fishing boat Nampyung No. 5 with fishing illegally inside New Zealand’s 200-mile zone. The Nampyung No. 5 was apprehended by the frigate Taranaki about 40 miles off Raoul Island last week and brought to Auckland under naval escort. The Auckland regional fisheries officer (Mr E. N. MacDonald) said that a summons was issued yesterday.
