Fulcher faces other charges
The Christchurch police have laid two more charges against Peter Fulcher, an Auckland company director. Fulcher, aged 39, had pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s ■ Court to three charges involving an application for a passport. When he appears in court again on Monday, Fulcher will also face a charge of possession of hashish oil, ind a charge, laid under the
Reserve Bank Act, of making a false declaration. Tight police security has surrounded his two court appearances so far. An application for bail by Fulcher was heard in chambers by Mr Justice Casey in the Supreme Court yesterday. After a 40-minute hearing, his Honour adjourned the application to 9.30 a.m. today to enable further inquiries to be made.
