Norton key to test win?
NZPA Sydney The British rugby league team is pinning its hopes on a former Manly (Sydney) lock, Steve Norton, to deny Australia an historic 3-0 clean sweep of the test series. The British camp firmly believes Norton holds the key to success in Saturday’s third test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Norton missed the second test with a calf muscie injury sustained at training and Australia went to win 24-16. The victory clinched the Ashes for Australia after its 35-0 triumph in the first test at Brisbane.
