Nurse with a current Practising Certificate for the position of Supervising Matron - Head Office. The position requires a person with administrative experience, combined with a kindly hut firm disposition. Responsibilities include, supervision of the operation of the Foundation Hostel for the Blind located in Parnell, Manurewa, Auckland, Tawa near Wellington, and Christchurch. The successful applicant will be required to live in, and a very comfortable 2 bdrm flat is available on the premises in Parnell. Possession of a driver’s licence would be an advantage. Salary and allowances are in accordance with State Service Scales, and membership of a Subsidised Superannuation Scheme is available after a qualifying period.
