Belmer's Image eased
Special correspondent Southland Belmer’s Image, the top (class New Zealand pacer, has suffered a setback in training in the United States. The former Southland gelding was taken to America by part-owner, Mr Ross Dy nes. in early Mav and was scheduled to begin racing later this month. Unfortunately. Belmer’s Image suffered a knock to a leg and his training has been eased. Details were sketchy yesterday as Mr Jim Dynes, father of Ross, had not heard from his son for a few days, but he believes the setback is not too serious at this stage.
