r OVERSEAS ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITIES IN HYDRO-ELECTRIC DAM CONSTRUCTION The Fiji Electricity Authority is building an earth dam for hydro-electric power generation in the central highlands. On their behalf we are seeking experienced personnel for this project which is of national importance and due for completion at the end of 1961 - DAM CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISORS There are a number of vacancies for supervisors to control various spheres of the project which involves a clay core/rock fill dam. At least five years experience in dam construction is essential along .with The capacity to supervise all aspects of the area under his control. jStaff motivation and control skills are also important. PLANNING ENGINEER This position involves programming of site work, allocation of resources, progress reporting and monitoring productivity initially for the dam and subsequently for the spillway and powerhouse. We are seeking a (jadirete engineer with hydro dam construction experience, ROADING ENGINEER This is a short term contract (6 months) involving the construction of access roads. Extensive experience in road formation, particularly in wel and sensitive days.
