Man dies at wheel
A middle-aged man was found dead in his car after it hit a parked car and crashed through a fence in Manchester Street about 12.15 p.m. yesterday. He was James Lanyon Williamson, aged 44, married, of R.D. 2, Sefton, The police believe Mr Williamson might have suffered a heart attack or other illness before the accident, which occurred outside 571 Manchester Street.
He was the sole occupant of the car. The parked car was not badly damaged, the police said.
