China falls short
The Chinese Prime Minister (Mr Hua Guofeng) has conceded at the opening of China’s Parliament that his country has fallen short of economic targets announced last year, but he quoted figures to show that the economy has grown. He said economic recovery during the last two or more years had far exceeded expectations.
