Inquiry into Chathams man’s death
A police party from Wellington flew to the Chatham Islands yesterday to investigate the death of a man in a house at Waitangi earlier in the day, reports the Press Association. The police, led by Detective Senior Sergeant P. Doone, flew to the Chathams in an Air Force Andover. The police in Wellington declined to say how the man had died.
