Drying plant closed
PA Hastings A $200.(100 grain-drying plant at Hastings has been closed by the Health Department after neighbouring firms complained Of air pollution. The grain-drying plant, the biggest in New Zealand, is run by four companies — De Pelichet McLeod, Ltd; Dalgety NewZealand, Ltd; Williams and Kettle, Ltd; and Wrightson NMA, Ltd.
