NZPA Sydney The New Zealand under-21 netball team maintained its unbeaten record in Australia by beating a New South Wales under-21 team, 52-28, at Sydney The team manager, Mrs Betty Steffensen, said that tbe team was improving with each game and Tuesday’s performance had been the best so tar. Some of the satisfaction of the victory was removed after the game, however, when the players learnt that Bridget Hishon, of Christ-
church, would return to New Zealand today. Miss Hishon badly injured an ankle in practice on Sunday, and it has been decided she can take no further part in the four-week tour. A 16-year-old Burnside goal-keeper, Wai Taumaunu, will fly to Australia today as a replacement. Freida Perfect, of Rotorua, gained confidence as the match went on and had a 72 per cent shooting average in landing 29 goals. The other 12 goals were scored by the captain, Adrianne Pratley. New Zealand led, 27-12, at halttime.
