Honouring umpires
Two w e 11-known members of the Canterbury Women’s Hocky Umpires’ Association, Mary McGregor and Dorothy Copley, have been made life members of the association. Mrs McGregor is a member- of the New Zealand Women’s Hockey Umpires’ Association interpretations board and i s the Canterbury examiner for New Zealand class umpires. Mrs Copley is the president of the C.W,H,U.A.
