Trolley-bus rethink
PA Dunedin Dunedin's trolley-buses will go off the roads on July 6. but the Dunedin City Council will review its policy on keeping the buses and their overhead w’ires. The acting chairman of the council’s transport committee, Cr I. W. McMeeking. told a meeting that the trolleybus fleet should be put in mothballs. He said that he was concerned about the onset of earless days, and possible problems of diesel-fuel supply to essential industries.
