MICROBIOLOGIST ANIMAL HEALTH REFERENCE LABORATORY WALLACEVILLE ANIMAL RESEARCH CENTRE VACANCY No. 4123 The Animal Health Division of the Ministry has a vacancy for a Microbiologist at our Animal Health Reference Laboratory, Wallaceville. Commencing salary will depend upon qualifications and experience. Qualifications desired: N.Z.C.S., A.N.Z.I.M.L.T. or B.Sc. (Microbiology) and experience in medical or veterinary' diagnostic bacteriology. Duties will include the isolation and identification of bacteria from diagnostic samples and referred cultures, the management of the Division’s proficiency testing programme and supervision of food microbiology.
