ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY— j Senior Lectureship. Candidates must hold a; medical qualification, registrable in New Zealand, to-! gether with a recognised post graduate qualification in Orth-! opaedic Surgery, and shouldi be experienced in teaching] undergraduate and post-gradu-i ate medical students. The Senior Lecturer will be expected to assist in the organisation, development and teaching of orthopaedic surger at undergraduate and post-graduate levels; and nut only to develop and engage in clinical research but also to encourage and supervise junior members of hospital staff embarking bn clinical research projects. The successful applicant will have clinical responsibilities at one of the Auckland Hospital Board group of hospitals.

PHARMACOLOGY AND CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY— Lectureship or Senior lectureship (Medical or Non-Medical) An especially well qualified candidate <non-mediealj maybe appointed at the level of Associate Professor. Applicants should have a postgraduate medical degree or qualification and/or a PhD degree in Pharmacology. Clinical Pharmacology. Biochemistry or a related field and hase proven ability to teach and conduct independent research. Preference will be given to those with training and an active research interest in one of the following areas: pharmacokinetics (drug disposition and passage of drugs across membranes; basic or applied autoonomic cardiovascular or respiratory pharmacology; basic or applied neurochemistry or neuropharmacology: basic or applied pharmaclogv related to anaesthesia Candidates for a Lecturship or Senior Lectureship Medicah must hold a medical Qualification regisfrab’p : n New Zealand.
