Public Notices » NOTICE OF INTENTION TO INTRODUCE BILL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the North Canterbury Hospital Board thereinafter referred to as “the Board’’) to introduce in the 1979 session of Parliament a Local Bill called The Christchurch Hospital Amendment Bill 1979. The objects which the Bill is intended to effect are: (a) To use part of the land described in the Fourth Schedule to the Christchurch Hospital Act 1887 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal Act”) for the construction of a: bridge and road providing access to. and as a service entrance for the Hospital Buildings; to and from Rolleston Avenue; ib) To release that portion of the land described in the Schedule to the Bill from the trusts created by Section 3 of the principal Act enabling the Board to effect such a design; ic) To provide for the bali ance of the land to remain vested in the Board in trust for the purposes of pleasure-gardens and recreation grounds and for no other purpose; id) To authorise, direct, and empower the District Land Registrar of the 1 Land Registration District of Canterbury to call in and endorse the titles releasing that portion of the land from the trusts created by Section 3 of the principal Act; (e) To provide for the repeal of section 2 and section 3 of the Christchurch Hospital Amendment Act 1944.
