Pilot killed in crash
PA Rotorua A pilot died when his Fletcher topdressing aircraft crashed after striking hightension lines near Rotorua yesterday. He was
Lester William Norris, aged 26, whose family live at Whangarei.
Mr Norris, employed by James Aviation, was making a flight over a farm at Horohoro at 11.45 a.m. when a wing of the aircraft struck the lines.
The aircraft, crashed on Its back into the bank of a small stream.
