B.A.N.Z. head in N.Z.
PA Wellington The new general manager of the Bahrain New Zealand Trading and Storage Company (8.A.N.Z.) (Mr R. Hitchcock) is in New Zealand to talk to Government departments and exporters. B.A.N.Z. is building an SIIM free port facility in Bahrain which is due to start working later this year. B.A.N.Z. has a 49 per cent-New Zealand shareholding currently held on behalf of the Government by the New Zealand Export-Im-port Corporation. Most, if not all, of the S2M of shares are to be disposed of to private enterprise organisations as has already happened in Bahrain to the Bahraini Gov-1 ernment’s 51 per cent inter-! est.
