Wix opens branch in Melbourne
Wix Corporation (NZ) Ltd, a member of MSI Corporation, Ltd, has established a branch in Melbourne. Although Wix has been involved in a joint manufacturing venture in South East Asia for nine years, this new branch is the first whollyowned business overseas. Wix, New Zealand’s major manufacturer of automotive filters, currently exports 20 per cent of the production
volume. During Export Year the company achieved a growth rate in sales of 25 per cent. Wix expects that this new venture, in conjunction with others, will result in real export sales growth in the next financial year. The Australian branch will provide the company with the opportunity to secure new industrial filtration contracts.
