Rotary boost to local medicine
A breakthrough in community medicine in Lincoln has been given a further boost by the involvement of the Lincoln Rotary Club. Recent approval by the Ellesmere County Council for a building of about 93 sq m for the Lincoln and Districts Care Association, to be built on land near Lincoln Community Centre in Gerald Street, was a red letter day for the association. Now working from a 100-year-old cottage in William Street, the association is welding strong links with the community Acceptance by the Rotary Club of the Care
Association project to commemorate its 75th Jubilee will bring many local people into first hand contact with the team of professional people and volunteers who run the association for the benefit of all people in Lincoln and districts. Now that the Ellesmere County has given its blesing to the project, meetings will soon begin between representatives of the Rotary Club, the Lincoln Community Centre and the Care Association to work out details of the project .for which the Rotary' Club will provide the manpower and materials. '
