Touragram to test knowledge of Europe
Compiled for “The Press” by ‘Gladiator’
"Gladiator” believes that this month’s touragram will really test the knowledge of readers. Their search for answers will have them travelling all over the European continent. The contest will close on June 26 and no entries will be opened until after that date.
They will then be marked at random, the first six correct entrants receiving gift vouchers from Whitcoulls.
“The Press” will also award a special $lO cash prize for the neatest correct entry submitted by a school class. The words are hidden in the touragram in a random manner and may
appear horizontally, vertically or diagonally. They can be read from left to right, or from right to left, and up or down. Some letters may be commone to two or more words.
Each word has a corresponding clue. When located, the words should be ringed neatly with a ballpoint pen and listed to
correspond with the number of the clues. Entries should be addressed to Touragram, c/o Travel Editor, “The Press,” P.O. Box 1005, Christchurch. Results will be published in “Tuesday Travel” on July 3.
