Kangas win
Brighton Kangas romped away from Avon Keas in the second half of their Australian Rules football match at Wainoni Park yesterday, winning 108-38. Play was close in the first spell,' but the Kangas asserted their superiority in the second half and gave a powerful team display. Kangas scored 15 goals and 18 behinds to Keas six goals and two behinds.
Goal scorers were: Kangas (T. Lomax 4, L. Arthur 3, G. Henderson. A. Marshall. G. Chick all 2, J. Adams, R. Robinson both 1). Keas (M. Bonnish 2. M. Cantrell, G. Willis, G. Gardner, J. Fidow all 1).
For Kangas. Marshall, Lomax, Henderson and Arthur had outstanding games, while T. Daniels, Gardner and B. Williams were most prominent for the losing team.
